I’ve spent years in Colorado’s cannabis industry and have seen it transform from a passion-driven community into a race for profits at the expense of the plant, the environment, and the people. Over time, I watched owners who once loved cannabis turn bitter as profits declined. This shift brought wasteful practices, employee mistreatment, chemical-laden grows, water contamination, and poor handling of plants—all in the name of cutting costs.
That was my breaking point. I stepped down as CEO/COO of Verde Natural when I saw the soul of the company eroding. I couldn’t be part of an industry moving further away from the integrity and craft that built it.
Why I Became a Caregiver
Cannabis isn’t a commodity to me—it’s medicine, a sacred plant that deserves respect. I’ve returned to my roots, growing small-batch, clean cannabis for patients who need and value quality.
